How this comparison was prepared

We reviewed the official vendor pages linked below on 8 October 2026. Competitor descriptions summarize their published information; we have not tested their installations. The providers are listed without a score or ranking. Here, GoPOS means Indigo’s North Macedonia offering, not another product with a similar name.

A public feature page is a starting point for a demonstration, not proof that every feature is included in every plan. We do not reproduce customer counts, awards or performance claims. Where this guide asks you to verify a capability, that does not mean a competitor lacks it.

Run the same service test with every provider

Use your own menu and service sequence rather than an idealized demo. For example, a café with one counter and a restaurant with open table bills may both need a POS, but they do not need the same route through payment and preparation.

  1. Open a table and send food to the kitchen and drinks to the bar. Add a second round and check that the first items are not sent again.
  2. Settle part of the bill in cash and the remainder by card. Confirm how the system distinguishes a payment record from bank-terminal authorization.
  3. Sell ten products with a recipe. Show the ingredient movements, then record waste and a physical count.
  4. Disconnect internet in a prepared demonstration. Test a new order, payment, customer receipt, station ticket and restart separately.
  5. Switch to another branch as the owner. Check which menus, prices, staff, stock and reports are shared or scoped to that branch.

Compare complete quotes, not plan names

Write down the first-year software fee, setup, devices, optional modules and support terms. A digital-menu entry plan is not equivalent to a functioning cashier setup. A kitchen screen and a kitchen printer are also different line items; establish which your team needs.

Rendo publishes North Macedonia prices in MKD per location. The website language does not change those prices. Compare the plan, optional modules, setup and hardware together, and confirm the final scope and tax treatment in writing with every provider.

When to include Rendo in your evaluation

Rendo connects counter orders, staff-managed tables, kitchen and bar preparation, shifts and owner reporting. Stock & Recipes is an optional module on Core, Flow and Pro. Purchasing is a second optional module and requires Stock & Recipes. Preparation capacity, devices and reporting depth depend on the plan.

Check specialist needs explicitly. A staff-managed table bill and a customer table QR order are separate workflows. Do not assume reservations, seat-level bill allocation, accounting or every fiscal device are included. Ask us to demonstrate the exact process your team will use.

Choose on evidence from your venue

Keep a short written acceptance checklist: order reaches the right station, payment totals reconcile, staff can close a shift, the owner can read the reports and the installed devices work. Request a migration plan and named support contact before the cutover.

The right system is the one whose demonstrated workflow fits your restaurant and whose complete quote you understand. Brand familiarity or a longer feature list should not replace that test.

See the workflow in your own context.

Bring your menu, device list and service questions. We’ll walk through the right setup for your venue.
