When does a self-ordering kiosk fit your venue?

Start with the queue you want to change. A fast-food counter with a short, visual menu is a different project from a café where guests ask staff about every item. A kiosk offers another way to enter orders; it still needs a clear place to pay and collect them.

Try a representative order with your own menu before deciding. Include an unavailable item, a size or extra, a takeaway order and a guest changing their mind. Do not assume a screen alone will increase sales or shorten waiting times.

  • Choose a screen position that guests can reach without blocking the cashier or pickup area.
  • Keep staff available for questions and guests who prefer to order at the counter.

What Rendo Kiosk does

Guests choose dine-in or takeaway, browse categories and customize products using the configured menu options. The menu can be used in Albanian, Macedonian or English. They review the basket, place the order and receive an order number.

Payment happens at the counter. The guest shows the number to the cashier; preparation starts after payment is confirmed. This workflow does not include an integrated card payment on the kiosk. Demonstrate the handoff with your actual staff before launch.

How much does a Rendo kiosk cost?

The software licence is 999 MKD per kiosk per month, or 9,990 MKD per kiosk per year when paid annually. It is added to the location’s Core, Flow or Pro subscription. Two kiosks require two licences; changing the website language does not change the MKD price.

For example, Core at 2,490 MKD plus one kiosk at 999 MKD is 3,489 MKD per month in recurring software. Annually, 24,900 + 9,990 = 34,890 MKD. Implementation, hardware and any applicable tax must be confirmed separately in the written quote.

Check the device and preparation setup

Ask for the exact touchscreen, mounting, power, network connection and device configuration in the offer. Hardware and installation are quoted separately. Rendo Kiosk availability depends on device setup and pilot acceptance; it is not an included screen with every plan.

A kiosk licence does not unlock extra preparation stations, station printing or pickup displays. The location’s base-plan limits still apply. If your workflow needs kitchen routing or pickup displays, compare Flow and Pro rather than assuming Core plus a kiosk includes them. The licence is separate from QR ordering.

A practical checklist before opening

Run a pilot on the intended device and network. Use real menu options and have a cashier complete payment and pass the order to preparation. Agree who helps when a guest needs assistance and how the device will be supported.

Request a quote that separates the base plan, each kiosk licence, implementation and hardware. Confirm the payment process and internet requirements; do not plan around offline ordering or integrated kiosk card payments.

  • Verify all three menu languages and your configured product options.
  • Test dine-in, takeaway, basket changes and the order number at the counter.
  • Confirm the preparation and pickup workflow within your purchased plan limits.
